This page helps to explain where we came from and what we left behind - all resources listed below are still in operation.

1998
- "Every Ones a Winner - Now That's What We Call Youth Music" The first music technology project linked six youth clubs from the region through production of a compilation CD.

1999 - Having worked in further education & arts development for some of the eighties and most of the nineties we were approached in 2000 to set up a studio by Daventry District Council.

With a small budget we set up five iMacs - training in music technology was offered to local schools where some pupils were falling behind.

2000 - 1st major music project at Westbury Centre, Leamington Spa funded by Youth Music.
Jam Station provided a saturday music performance & technology club for the young people of the Queensway Estate.

2001 - With a success rate of over 90% in Daventry the doors were opened to all of Northamptonshire - this took the studio over capacity so another centre opened in Towcester to meet demand. Youth Music funded the new studio.

2002
- We set up the first studio at The African Caribbean Project at Bath Place in Leamington Spa.
Also, the community media resource at Racing Club Warwick funded by The Heritage Lottery and The Countryside Agency.

Also in 2002 having set the scene with Jam Station a major upgrade to the resources - this was to become the first actual Hybrid:arts studio. This time funds came through WCYP and NACYP.

2003
- With funding from The Learning and Skills Council we are able to set up two training rooms in Rugby offering music technology and digital imaging / video production. Also, Local Heritage Initiative funds for Blackwell Youth Club.

This was the start of a growing relationship with the LLSC, next they provided the capital required to bring our Leamington Spa operation up to the industry standard with all new computers, software and camera equipment.
2004 - This boost of new equipment and new training contracts meant that we grew out of the Westbury Centre making a move to Marlborough House with support from Warwick District Council. Another successful bid to Youth Music made it possible to set up music technology at Southam Youth Club - The Local Network Fund contributed money for video equipment. 2005 - A headmaster with vision makes it possible for H:a to install a multi media suite at Campion School and Community College this time funded through CSWP with a link to Youth Music.
2006 - move office and training rooms to WDC Cultural Quarter Spencer Yard - music studio stays at Marlborough House

2007 - We have been successful in raising funds to open a music training centre and venue in Leamington Spa - "Indestructible" is supported by The Arts Council. 2008 - After a frustrating period of waiting, looking, waiting and looking some more we eventually took a short lease at The Band Factory to use part of the building that stood empty.
